I finally did it !
Like so many other young people, I am facinated with tattoos so always planned to get atleast one myself.
Although I do love them I personally believe that every tattoo is going to be a part of you and stay with you forever and should therefore have a meaning/ representation personal to you.
Pain: I heard so many things about foot tattoos being so painful and so was so scared/ nervous. Im not gunna lie i did think about running away when i heard the needle. However it didnt hurt that bad at all so if you want something badly enough just do it don't let anyone try and put you off.
Meaning/ reason why I got it:
This year (from february) I have gone through a really hard time (possibly the worst time in my life so far). At university everything seemed to go wrong and fall to pieces at the same time: my relationship, my job, my uni course plus being over 4 hours drive from my family caused me to break down. However thanks to sheer determination and amazing support from my family I pulled through it and am now almost back to my normal outspoken bubbly self.
Cherry Blossom:
Is a a beautiful plant that lives only for a very short time, however despite that it is so important and so beautiful in so many different cultures. Basically it lives its life to the fullest and doesnt worry about not lasting long which is exactly what I intend to do, learn from this period in time but not let it affect me in a negative way.
Japanese = A simbol of beauty and sacrifice - It represents all the samuri that gave their life for their country brave and selfless.
In Japan cherry blossom is also the flower of march (my birth month).
Fragile but strong.
China = Feminine power and dominance (I liked this one :P)
A symbol of love for others
Cherry Blossom generally = "Overcoming the obstacles of life"
